About Cargoivo
Cargoivo turns everyday freight and packaging formulas into focused tools, then explains the assumptions and decisions behind the number.
Useful before the quote
Shipping decisions often begin with a tape measure, a scale, and a spreadsheet. Cargoivo replaces the repetitive part with fast calculators for volume, dimensional weight, pallets, containers, girth, and shipping-unit conversions.
Our tools are built for e-commerce operators, warehouse teams, importers, exporters, students, and logistics professionals who need a dependable planning estimate without creating an account.
More than calculator pages
Cargoivo maintains a growing shipping library that explains CBM, chargeable weight, dimensional-weight divisors, pallet patterns, container capacity, unit conversion, and packaging optimization with worked examples. Each relevant guide links back to the calculator used to reproduce the method.
The Cargoivo Lab publishes simple reference calculations, while How We Test explains how calculator formulas and examples are checked.
Transparent by design
Every calculator explains its formula and assumptions. Carrier presets can be useful planning references, but the exact divisor, rounding rule, threshold, service limit, equipment specification, and surcharge must be confirmed against the current carrier, forwarder, or contract terms.
Independent and practical
Cargoivo is an independent information service. It is not a carrier, freight forwarder, customs broker, packaging engineering consultancy, or safety authority, and it is not endorsed by companies mentioned in educational comparisons.
Our publishing standards are documented in the Editorial Policy, and the role responsible for maintaining guides and worked examples is described on the Editorial Team page.
