Cargoivo Editorial Responsibility
Cargoivo publishes and maintains the explanations, worked examples, and assumptions around these calculators. The Cargoivo byline identifies the site as the publisher; it does not identify an independent carrier or licensed engineering reviewer.
What Cargoivo maintains
We turn formulas into plain-language guidance, build worked examples, check unit conversions, review calculator assumptions, and keep warnings visible where a planning estimate depends on carrier, equipment, or contract terms.
Our role is not to replace the carrier, freight forwarder, warehouse engineer, packaging engineer, customs specialist, or safety professional involved in a real shipment.
How articles are reviewed
New guides are checked for arithmetic consistency, clear units, realistic examples, internal links to the appropriate calculator, and language that distinguishes stable mathematics from rules that may change.
When a topic uses carrier-specific terminology or a common published divisor, the article is written as an educational planning example and tells readers to confirm the current service documentation.
Our evidence standard
We prefer examples readers can reproduce. The Cargoivo Lab publishes representative calculations, while How We Test explains the verification process used for calculators and guide examples.
Corrections
If you find a calculation or explanation that appears wrong, use the contact page and include the page, inputs, expected result, and source you are comparing. Specific correction reports are more useful than general feedback because they can be reproduced.
